  • Amplitude-sensitive dampers (Front/Rear)  

 These are to achieves both ride comfort and steering stability at the same time. It absorbs flexibly when the width of vibration is small such as on a rough road surface, and keeps a stable posture for large movements such as when cornering. Equipped with an "amplitude-sensitive damper" which characteristics changes according to the situation.

What is the Benefit Amplitude-sensitive dampers?

Owners benefit from dampers that are secure and tight feeling in corners, yet smooth and supple when cruising, for greater ride comfort. 

Features:

These dampers have a second piston valve, enabling them to provide the right damping force for the driving condition. For example, road bumps will trigger lower damping forces for a more compliant ride quality, while tight cornering will produce higher damping forces for sportier turning with less body roll.


3) VGR (Variable Steering Gear Ratio)

Seeking direct handling performance for the driver's will. Uses VGR (variable steering gear ratio) that changes the turning angle of the tire according to the amount of steering operation. Obtained a crisp turning performance in cornering.

4) Real-time AWD

A 4WD system <real-time AWD> that precisely controls the torque distribution of the front and rear wheels by electronic control. The evolution of the control model has realized even more detailed front-rear torque distribution. Appropriate torque is instantly distributed to the rear wheels according to the road surface conditions, and 4WD driving is achieved smoothly.
