Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA)

VSA (ABS + TCS + Electronic Stability Control)

VSA = Vehicle Stability Assist (Vehicle Behavior Stabilization Control System)

EBD = Electronically Controlled Braking Force Distribution System (sideslip suppression)

ABS = 4-Wheel Anti-Lock Braking System
TCS = Traction Control System

ABS with EBD that prevents wheel lock during braking, TCS that suppresses wheel slippage during acceleration, and side slip suppression during turning. Side slip suppression function that tries to ensure the stability of the vehicle by suppressing the slide slip of the wheels when turning with a sudden steering wheel operation or a slippery road surface. All types are equipped as standard with VSA that controls these three functions and stabilizes the posture of the car. VSA is a device that comprehensively controls the  ABS function, TCS function, and sideslip suppression function to suppress sudden changes in vehicle behaviour. In addition, an electronically controlled brake assist the driver's brake operation during emergency braking is also installed in Vezel.

Note:- VSA Warning light flashes while TCS function or electronic stability control function is activated in Vezel.

Electronically Controlled Brake Assist

It is a feature that generates a larger force to assist the driver's brake operation during emergency braking.

Operation of Electronically Controlled Brake Assist

When you step on the brake pedal hard, the brake will work more strongly. When the it is activated, the pedal may wiggle or you may hear an operating noise. This is a phenomenon when the brake assist is activated and is not abnormal. Keep pressing the brake pedal strongly.

TCS - Traction Control System

This active safety system silently waits in the background when you need it to help your car accelerate efficiently and prevent wheel slippage at the same time. It helps keep traction between the tires and the road in slippery or dangerous conditions. For even better results and well better stability, a traction control system works best when it is paired with a stability control system. A stability control system utilizes more sensors and can control more aspects of your vehicle in order to help keep you in control of your vehicle at all times. It can help you steer the vehicle to where you want it to go during an emergency situation by applying the brakes accordingly.

TCS automatically turns on when you start the vehicle. It is a feature that can be on all the time that won't have any adverse effect on your normal driving. It works best in almost all driving conditions but is most effective when it comes to low traction surfaces. Therefore you will need to turn your traction control on if it is off already.

There are some instances where it is better to turn the feature off. These instances are if you are going off-roading and are going through terrains such as mud, sand and even snow. In these scenarios, traction control will do you more harm than good. In these types of terrains, you will want to have your tires spin furiously so that they can dig through the mud, sand, snow or ice to find some solid ground. Note that it is not applicable for all situations especially if the mud or snow is deeper than your tires or if it is beyond what your tire can handle.

Hill start assist function

Prevents the momentary sickness when starting on a slope .All types are equipped as standard with a hill start assist function that suppresses the vehicle from retreating for about 1 second when the pedal is stepped on from the brake to the accelerator when starting on a slope.

Emergency stop signal

Emergency stop signal is a system that reduce the possibility of being hit by and emergency flashing indicator that automatically flashes at high speed to notify the following vehicle that the vehicle has suddenly braked.

Body Design

Airbags

Honda's original "continuous capacity change type" i-SRS airbag system for driver's seats that supports various physiques and collision situations is standard equipment on all types. In addition, side airbags that reduce damage to the chest and side curtain airbags that protect the head and neck are also available in case of a side collision.

Child seat

To effectively prevent the child seat from moving forward in the event of a collision. Mounting brackets for securely and easily mounting general-purpose ISOFIX child seats are available on the left and right rear seats. In addition, it also supports i-Size child seats.
